The project’s key success factor is its cost-effective and speedy deployment, eliminating the need for underground cables. This innovative solution not only aligns with NUS’s commitment to a Smart, Safe, and Sustainable campus but also addresses the challenge of limited outdoor connectivity. With installation time reduced by 50% to a mere four days and cost savings of approximately $3 million for a campus-wide deployment, our eco-friendly system, powered by solar energy, champions sustainability and delivers real time Wi-Fi insights for optimal performance. Expanding NUS’ Wi-Fi capabilities outdoors, coupled with the utilisation

of existing 5G SA coverage, we open doors to pioneering learning methodologies, and enhance NUS reputation in the domains of education, research, and innovation. We were recognised through accolades like the Gartner Eye on Innovation Awards for Education and the Singapore Business Review (SBR) Excellence Award . Our work has also garnered attention from prestigious international media platforms such as Channel News Asia, The Economist Impact, The New York Times, and Nikkei Asia. This has further solidified our status as a practice leader in delivering reliable, high-speed wireless coverage in the education sector.
