GovInsider Festival of Innovation Awards - Digital Leader of the Year Our CITO, Shui-Min, was honoured for her outstanding leadership in driving innovation and guiding NUS IT towards our vision of creating a “Borderless University, Powered by Infinite Technology”.

THE Awards Asia - Teaching and Learning Strategy of the Year As co-investigators in the “Managing Aggression using Immersive Content (MAGIC)” project, we partnered with the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine to develop a Virtual Reality (VR) programme for teaching medical and nursing students to manage agitated patients with empathy. Judges praised the initiative for demonstrating how virtual or augmented reality can enhance learning at scale.

NUS Admin Excellence Awards We celebrated three wins at the Admin Excellence Awards by the NUS Agility Office: an Honourable Mention for Unit of the Year (Highest Impact), President’s Project of the Year for Project Scribe (in collaboration with the NUS Office of Risk Management and Compliance for the AI-Minute initiative), and an Honourable Mention in President’s Project of the Year for Chope@NUS, an innovative seat reservation system developed with NUS Libraries!
