NUS IT last saw a major renovation of its building in 2005. Since then, incremental renovation works had been carried out to accommodate the growing size of the department over the years in line with the University’s increasing IT needs. However, as demand still persistently exceeded available capacity, we embarked on the ambitious Office Makeover project in 2020. We successfully moved back to our newly refurbished office in February 2023 ! NUS IT now boasts a cosy and welcoming office environment, “a second home” away from home that caters to the diverse requirements of our staff, ensuring their motivation and productivity.

The building is now equipped with facial recognition door access systems, reinforcing physical security and reducing the need for physical staff cards.
