IN PURSUIT OF ADMINISTRATIVE EXCELLENCE

A NEW RECORD For our internship programme, we welcomed a new record number of 25 interns who completed 20 over projects during their tenure with us. A NEW OFFICE IN FEBRUARY NUS IT now boasts a cozy and welcoming office environment, “a second home” away from home that caters to the diverse needs of our staff, boosting their motivation and productivity.

We remain steadfast in our pursuit of administrative excellence, implementing cost-efficient solutions. For example, we migrated Qlik to Power BI achieving significant savings of $500,000 in 2023 alone.

SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS FOR THE RESEARCH COMMUNITY Using the campus as a testbed, NUS IT’s High-Performance Computing (HPC) system was deployed in the Sustainable Tropical Data Centre Testbed (STDCT). It provides high volume computing workload for the research community using novel green technologies.

WITH APPRECIATION My heartfelt appreciation goes to our stakeholders, partners, users and senior management for their invaluable support, and to the unwavering commitment of NUS IT team. We also had the privilege of contributing to major local and international conferences as speakers and panellists. We shared what we learnt and continue to learn from what others shared. In seizing this moment, I would like to extend warm wishes for a joyous, blessed and extraordinary 2024!
