Throughout 2024, NUS IT showcased its thought leadership in technology and innovation through participating in numerous high-impact events. Chief IT Officer Tan Shui-Min highlighted the 5G smart NUS campus during the Economist Impact’s “Scope for Change” series. Her insights, featured in the Singapore Computer Society Magazine and Economic Times CIO Southeast Asia, focused on sustainability, digital fluency, and inclusion. She also contributed to the active discussion on AI and immersive technologies at the Microsoft X AvePoint Copilot CXO and Times Higher Education Digital Universities Asia forums. As a keynote speaker at Inspire Inclusion and a participant in SAP Innovation Day, SAPNOW SEA and GovInsider’s Festival of Innovation, Shui-Min shared her experiences and tips on cloud strategies. Likewise, IT Applications Director Chan Hse-Ming, and Head of IT Security Ang Leong Boon, further reinforced NUS IT’s commitment to innovation and cybersecurity when they spoke at industry conferences.
