Striking Chords of Performance Excellence & Value Accelerating Performance Excellence & Value
The Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) is a state-of-the art initiative designed to unify processes, technology, and personnel to enhance NUS’ campus operations. The pilot phase will focus on security and facilities management within UTown. Utilising a Digital Twin platform, the IOC will monitor real-time data from IoT sensors, including CCTV cameras, lifts, fire alarms, and air conditioning systems, to optimise campus management. Predictive analytics will anticipate equipment maintenance needs, while automated communication systems will alert key personnel during emergencies. Additionally, a unified CCTV (UCCTV) system within the IOC will enhance security by consolidating multiple camera feeds for comprehensive surveillance. Scheduled for completion by Q4 2024, the IOC is pivotal in modernising campus operations. By integrating advanced technology and data-driven insights, the IOC will improve operational efficiency, security, incident management, and collaboration, while concurrently paving the way for future innovation implementation.
